Infrastructure

Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences has 60 acre campus at Whitefield, Bangalore. It has an easy access to the essential facilities from the city as same as avoiding the pollution.

Departments like emergency department, critical care unit, blood bank, central diagnostic Lab and ambulance services to implement the growing requirements of patients.

It has a canteen, sufficient restrooms, and hostel for both boys and girls along with other necessary facilities for the students and also it has common room for boys and girls with attached toilet. It was built within 200 sq.m per each room.

Library

Air conditioned digital library is available in VIMS. Working hours of stack room starting from 9 am to 11 am and Reading room starting from 9 am to 11 am.

Library was built in 4000 sq.m. Reading room has inside and outside facilities for students that has the capacity for 650 persons and staff reading room has the capacity for 90 persons.. PG reading room was built within the capacity for 250 persons.

Moreover 22578 books and 241 journals include Indian and foreign journals and 50 internet nodes are available in VIMS Library.

Hostel

VIMS has the separate hostel for boys and girls within the campus. There is such facilities are available like Mess, water and Hygienic hostel campus.

This hostels are providing Visitor room and Air Conditioned study room with internet and computer. Central photography section are available in VIMS campus that has been well equipment and well trained staffs.

These hostels are having good water facilities and comfortable toilet facilities. VIMS hostel rooms have the capacity of 961 UG students, 254 interns, 458 PG students and 466 Nurses. It also has the Residential Quarters for Teaching staff and Non teaching staff.
