Infrastructure

The Subbaiah Institute of Medical Sciences is named after the name and style “SUBBAIAH MEDICAL COLLEGE”. Spread over 32 acres of lush greenery, College is housed in several buildings that occupy a total area of ​​12,000,000 sqm.

The Institute has a 700-person multi-specialist hospital and other auxiliary medical facilities, as recommended by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

The Institute also has a well-equipped, technologically advanced research and science center that dives into post-graduate educational programs that are in the anvil.

Library

The campus central library is a centrally air-conditioned 2400 SQ.M library that can accommodate 300 students at a time. Foreign magazines are subscribed to students to update their knowledge.

There are 7665 textbooks are available and 62 Journals, handbooks of various subjects are available to help students meet the requirements.

Devices, such as scanners and photocopiers, are placed under the control of a librarian so that students can make photocopies of reference materials and magazines.

40 Computers are available with Internet facilities in the E-Library section. It’s working from 09.00 to 23.59 days of the week and Holidays from 09.00 to 16.00.

All departments have their own individual libraries. Departmental libraries also function as seminar rooms by appropriate employees.

Hostel

Providing accommodation to students is a basic task. Well-equipped AC and non-AC hostels, separate for boys and girls, meet the requirements of a comfortable student life.

The disorder in the hostel provides students with healthy and hygienic food. Security guards are available at all times to ensure the safety of prisoners in shelters. Boys Hostel has 106 rooms available with needed facilities and 85 rooms available in Girls Hostel.

Guest rooms, recreation room with music, indoor games, TV rooms with DTH network plasma TV are available for students in their hostel. A separate air-conditioned learning room with internet access is also available to students in their hostels.
