Muslim Minority MBBS Colleges in India.
Currently, there are 612 Medical colleges in India, teaching MBBS course and the total number of MBBS seat accounts for 91927 . Out of which, 26 pertains to Muslim minority medical colleges.
Admission into these Muslim minority colleges is purely on the basis of NEET All India Rank and only NEET qualified candidates are eligible to get admission .
For taking admission into these minority colleges students are required to participate in the respective state counselling rather than approaching the college itself.
According to the states policy preference is given to state minority students and then the vacant seats are allotted to students from other states. Also ,the Muslim candidate’s reservation percentage is based on respective States policy,for instance in a few states, 100% of the seats is reserved for Muslim Minority candidates & some states reserve only 50% for Muslims candidates & the rest is for others.
