NEET UG 2020 Result Declared | Updates & Cut-off.


The long-awaited NEET UG 2020 result has been declared. Kudos to all the qualified candidates.

National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday 16th October, released the results of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 on its official website.

Candidates can find the NEET UG 2020 results from the official website of NTA – ntaneet.nic.in.

As many as 13,67,032 students appeared in the phase 1 exam, while phase 2 saw 290 students taking the entrance test.

NEET aspirant from Odisha, Shoyeb Aftab, reportedly made history on Friday with a perfect score in the 2020 medical entrance test.

“Shoyeb, the 18-year-old from Rourkela, has landed an All India Rank 1 in NEET 2020.”

Students who have qualified for the exam will now be called for NEET 2020 counseling Medical aspirants belonging to the general category need to secure 50 percentile or more in NEET to qualify for the exam, while cut off for unreserved PH students is set at 45 percentile. Those belonging to SC, ST, OBC category have to secure 40 percentile.

Neet 2020 qualify 50% percentile score of the open category is 147. And for the reserved category 40% percentile is 113.

This year the Cut-off goes very high compared to last year. Last year Open category 50% percentile score was 134 & for the reserved category 40 percentile was 107. Last year’s top ranker score was 701 & this year it is 720.

Cut-off of NEET 2020 has been announced & is as follows for all the categories.

Those who didn’t qualify, don’t get disheartened if you didn’t make it this time you will surely do next year. I request all of you please don’t be nervous or frustrated, you have already done your best, your long counseling process awaits now.

There are many loopholes in the counseling process that one can take advantage of. MBBS seats have increased & also AIIMS & JIPMER both are available in this year ALL India counseling process in All India so don’t lose your hope everyone has a chance to make it to their desired course.
