Maharashtra State (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, etc) Admission Process Explanation.


MBBS admission process of Maharashtra: Commissionerate State CET CELL Maharashtra website- https://www.mahacet.org conduct online counseling for admission to all the Health & Science Courses (MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BUMS / BHMS / BPTh / BOTh / BASLP / BP&O / B.Sc Nursing) on merit based on the marks obtained by aspirants in the NEET – National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test NEET 2020, including all Colleges -Government, Corporation, Private & Minority.

MBBS admission process of Maharashtra Step by Step.

1- Start with the registration process, candidates will have to register on www.mahacet.org for participating in online counseling process & upload all require documents such as leaving certificate, 12th passing certificate, Domicile certificate, NEET Marks etc.
After submitting the Online Application Form, candidates will have to pay registration fees online for participation in the state counseling process.
2- After knowing all the details Cet cell will declare a serial number list of all the participants registered candidates.
Note: There are two phases & group wise of the documents verification process (group one NEET Qualify Candidates, group two NEET Non-Qualify Candidates).
3- From Serial no 1 to last, Phase & schedule-wise Cet Cell call for documents verification.
4- After 1st group documents verification process completed Cet Cell declares its final provisional state Merit list number of All eligible participants candidates details.
5- Phase or group one candidates have to fill preference of choice of courses & colleges online.candidates can fill as many preferences as they can.

Please Note: The candidate can fill online preference form multiple times before clicking the submit button. Once the submit button is clicked, then there is no provision to change the preferences.
These preferences will be used for 1st round and subsequent rounds including Mop-Up round of selection/upgradation (if any). Upgradation in the subsequent round including the Mop-Up round is compulsory.

The Online preference form filling process will be divided into two groups.  
Group  A:- For MBBS / BDS courses.
Group  B:- For all courses other than MBBS/BDS courses:-

Candidates should fill the desirous preferences of the courses in either of the groups (A or B) or both the groups (A & B).

6- After that Cet Cell public first selection List, if candidate name is there in 1st selection list candidate will have to secure his/her admission by paying the required Fees and other formality, if candidates fail to secure admission then such candidates will disqualify for the further round of admission process.
Note: Initially only MBBS & BDS Admission Process will start means the first selection list is only for MBBS & BDS courses.
7- There are 2 Rounds of online selection list of MBBS courses After that there will be 2 Mop-up Rounds, both are online for government colleges & one Mop-up round for private colleges.
8- After 1st MBBS Mop-up round of Private colleges if the seat will remain vacant then it’s surrender to respective private colleges.
9- Those candidates who are interested to participate in private colleges seats can apply to respective private colleges directly for admission private colleges will be given only 2 days of time for filling up their vacant seats.
10- After MBBS & BDS admission process is over, there will be multiple Rounds of online selection process & the online selection list will be declared for other courses such as BAMS, BHAM, BUMS, BPTH, BOTH, & others Health & Science courses.
