AIIMS MBBS Admission Process & Required Documents.


AIIMS MBBS Admission process: The All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are a group of autonomous government public medical universities of higher education under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare , Government of India. These institutes have been declared by an Act of Parliament as Institutes of National Importance.
 
Every Medical aspirant dream to study MBBS in one of the best college of India i.e. All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) medical college, especially in AIIMS Delhi.

AIIMS Colleges.

From 2020 there will be just one entrance test NEET-UG for admission into all medical colleges in India, including AIIMS All India Institutes of Medical Sciences and JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research) at Puducherry.

AIIMS Admission Procedure:

Admissions to all seats of Undergraduate Medical / Dental Courses will be done through NEET (UG) - .Including AIIMS JIPMER & AFMC Colleges

Counselling for admission to MBBS Course in AIIMS Medical Colleges will be conducted by DGHS-Directorate General of Health Services, based upon Candidates All India Rank (AIR) in NEET UG) Exam & the Candidate will have to register on the MCC Website. (www.mcc.nic.in) & online counselling would be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)

Documents Required

1- Admit Card of Exam issued by NTA.
2- Result/Rank letter issued by NTA.
3- Date of Birth Certificate (if Metric Certificate does not bear the same).
4- Certificate of having passed the 10+2 or equivalent Examinations, showing the subject offered by him/her in the NEET Examination.
5- Certificate from the Board from which he/she passed the High School/Higher Secondary Examination, showing his/her date of birth.
6- Certificate/Mark sheet from the Board from which he/she passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination showing that he/she has secured 60% or more marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability) in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
7- Migration Certificate from the University/Board last attended by him/her. (Please Note after selection you will get a migration certificate).
8- SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority. The community should be clearly mentioned in the certificate. (If Applicable)
9- OBC Certificate issued by the competent authority. The sub-caste should tally with the central list of OBC. OBC candidates should not belong to the Creamy layer. The OBC certificate must be in the prescribed format. (If Applicable)
10- EWS Certificate issued by the competent authority & should NOT be older than ONE Year on date of First end of Seat allocation. (If Applicable)
11- A person with a disability Certificate from prescribed authority showing that he/she belongs to Persons with Benchmark Disability Category. (If Applicable)
