A common doubt Resolved for MBBS Admission!

Both Parents & students are asking me a common question i.e what can be the safe score for getting admission in a government medical college especially in Mumbai.

The answer to this is, that any Admission into the medical field will be given on the basis of ALL India Quota Rank & on State Merit list number, and not just the score

For example:
in 2018 candidates who score 534 in NEET, got All India Rank 10967, SML no 680 & got an MBBS seat in Cooper Mumbai in the open category
& in 2019 candidate who scores the same 534 marks in NEET got All India rank 31310, SML no 2445 didn’t get a seat in any of the government medical colleges in the open category.

My call on this is that your score will be good or average will totally depend on NEET 2020 Questions paper, if 2020 NEET paper will be tough & hard 500 will be a very good score to secure an MBBS seat in government medical college & Whereas if the paper is easy then the score 550 will not help you in securing an MBBS seat in any government college in the open category.

So work hard & try to get maximum marks in NEET 2020.
